The Holy Bible provides us numerous examples of why music is so essential. The importance of music should never be overlooked or understated. Music is a vital factor in almost every aspect of life, civilizations, organizations, and many religious groups and sects; it is a driver and, in many cases, a determinant.

In Joshua 6:20, music was performed to bring down a wall known as “The Wall of Jericho”; in this occasion, music was employed as a military tactic. In another section of the Bible, it was stated that King Saul was tortured by an evil spirit, and if David sang and played music for him, the evil spirits would flee; in this case, music was employed as a means of salvation.

In another chapter of the Bible, the children of Israel praised God for their triumph over Pharaoh. In Exodus 15:1, we read: “Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.”

There are several circumstances in which I would not be able to stop writing.The most essential thing in our lives as Christians is to sing and praise the Lord God Almighty, since this is all He wants from us, and there is no need to search deeper for a nice, pleasant, and beautiful song.
