Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen celebrated his 26th birthday on Sunday in style by acquiring a green Lamborghini Urus, according to reports by PUNCH Sports Extra.
The luxury vehicle, which is considered the world’s first super sport utility vehicle, costs between $237,848 and $269,885 (approximately ₦372m to ₦422m at Sunday’s exchange rate).
In a video making rounds on social media, former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins was seen blessing the car for Osimhen. Martins offered prayers in front of the vehicle and sipped from a glass before handing it to Osimhen, who also drank from it. This act reflects a common Nigerian tradition of sipping to celebrate a newly acquired car or property.
Osimhen, currently in red-hot form for Galatasaray, has added the luxury car to his growing list of achievements both on and off the pitch.
