Rapper Offset Hospitalized After Shooting Incident Near Florida Casino
Offset has been hospitalized after sustaining gunshot injuries in an incident near a casino in Florida on Monday evening, April 6.
The rapper, best known as a member of the hip-hop group Migos, was reportedly shot close to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, located just outside Miami.
A representative for the 34-year-old confirmed the development, stating that the artist is currently receiving medical treatment and is in stable condition. According to the statement, he remains under close medical supervision as doctors monitor his recovery.
Authorities also confirmed the incident, noting that it occurred shortly after 7 p.m. in a valet area outside the casino. Police said the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Officers responded swiftly to the scene, contained the situation, and detained two individuals in connection with the incident.
Law enforcement officials emphasized that there is no ongoing threat to the public, adding that normal operations have resumed in the area. However, investigations are still ongoing, and further details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting have not yet been disclosed.
