Joshua Baraka, a Ugandan singer-songwriter, was born on December 13, 2000, in Kawempe, Kampala. He began his musical career playing piano in church and eventually established a sound that combines Afrobeat, R&B, reggae, and soul.

He initially gained popularity with the breakthrough hit “Nana” in 2023, which was later remixed by notable stars like as Joeboy, Bien, and King Promise. In 2025, his song “Wrong Places” received 15 million streams across platforms. He has also toured Europe, opening for Bien, and has received nominations for major African music awards like as Trace and AFRIMMA.

JAE5 (Kweku Awote-Mensah) is a British-Ghanaian producer and performer who pioneered the afroswing sound and collaborated with major artists in the UK and Africa.

He has collaborated with J Hus, Dave, and Burna Boy, among others. His involvement frequently results in high output levels and international attention for projects.
