IGP Disu Pledges Stronger Security Collaboration, Unveils Security Vehicles in Ogun State
The Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Rilwan Disu, on Saturday reaffirmed the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to enhancing national security and fostering close collaboration with state authorities during the commissioning of key projects in Ogun State.
The event, attended by senior government officials and security stakeholders, highlighted the critical role of security in supporting development initiatives. Disu emphasized the Police’s ongoing efforts to align operational priorities with infrastructural growth across the state and the country.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the deployment of new security vehicles and electric motorbikes to bolster the operational capacity of local security agencies. The IGP praised the Ogun State Government for its proactive approach to security, noting that the newly commissioned assets would enhance rapid response and patrol effectiveness.
