A young Nigerian woman ready to marry has participated in the viral Hallelujah Challenge in an unusual way: by arranging a love proposal for herself.
The Hallelujah Challenge, a prayer manifestation movement started by gospel musician Nathaniel Bassey, invites Christians to “dress like the miracle” they hope to see happen.
Embracing the concept, the lady, who is hopeful for a marriage proposal, organized the touching moment while her companion filmed it on tape.
In the emotional clip, she is seen crying tears, replicating the reaction of someone being proposed to, while her buddy cheers her on in the background. The video has since gone viral, prompting diverse comments online.
While some found her faith and anticipation encouraging, others saw it as an overreaction to the difficulty.
A social media user, @jayni_fer reacted, “This is very beautiful and I pray your desires comes to fulfillment in no distant time. But honestly, this has no business being on social media if you ask me.”
