Educative and scorching Zimbabwean musician Freeman HKD and Zambian music prodigy Yo Maps have enlisted their latest joint, inventive masterpiece, “Next To Me.”

The music, which was released on October 22, 2025, combines Afrobeat with current Zambian elements. Speculation about the cooperation started in July 2025, when videos of the musicians in the studio surfaced on social media.

This song was written by Freeman HKD (Emegy Chizanga) and Yo Maps (Elton Mulenga), and produced by Raphel DangerZone and Elvis J Njeke. It illustrates the creative link across countries.

Finally, fans celebrating the confluence of Zimbabwean and Zambian musical ability have praised the enormously popular song on social media.
