Bisimanuel, a Nigerian spontaneous songwriter, music producer, vocalist, and talent-driven worship leader, has released a new and life-changing song titled Praise Fusion 1.0.
I like informing people about how much Christian music has influenced various groups and aspects of Nigerian society. Let me provide another example, and this should dispel the doubts of the doubting Thomas. I reside in a predominantly Muslim community.
There is a woman residing in the other apartment in my property. One day, when I was in my own apartment, I overheard her listening to and singing Hillsong Worship’s iconic gospel song “Who You Say I Am”. I was stunned and startled. To me, this is not just any song, and I began to worry if she realized what it was about. I understand that Muslims do not believe that someone like Jesus will die for their sins.

So I was left in a state of uncertainty, and I couldn’t approach her to ask whether she understood what she was singing. Even yesterday, I heard her perform the freshly released song “Oluwatosin.” I heard her remark, “Oluwatosin, this Jesus I know is enough for me.” I didn’t hear the Jesus bit well since I wasn’t expecting her to sing anything. So, in essence, the importance of Christian hymns and music cannot be overstated. Many non-Christians have come to better understand who Jesus is.
Here is another gospel song, which I hope will have a significant influence on the lives of people. So, try your best to share with a large number of individuals in your community. Praise Fusion. 1.0 by Bisimanuel.
