The Sergeant-at-Arms intervened, attempting to escort Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan out of the chamber. Amid the commotion, Senate President Akpabio’s efforts to restore order were initially unsuccessful, as Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan demanded an explanation for the unauthorized change to her seating arrangement. The situation was eventually brought under control after the public address systems were temporarily shut down, allowing normal proceedings to resume.
